TOUR 2008

CONGRATULATIONS, VAL AND DAVE

For a successful Norfolk tour, June 20th - 23rd 2008

Based in Cromer, once again the arranged matches were both enjoyable and testing. The greens were all bowling well and the hospitality we received from the host clubs, was, as ever, to the highest standard. With the exception of Sunday, when the strong wind gusts over an obscenely fast green made bowling, for some of us, difficult to say the least, the weather was very kind to us, our wet weather gear stayed securely in our bowls bags.

                                                                                       Friday -  Suffield Park B.C., Cromer, CBBA won on all rinks

                                                                                       Saturday - Great Yarmouth B.C. The Match was a draw, both clubs each winning on three rinks.

                                                                                       Sunday - Bradwell B.C. CBBA won on five rinks  and came second on one rink

                                                                                       Monday - The Marrams B.C., Cromer, CBBA came a close second, scoring 90 shots to 117 scored by Marram B.C.
